Aqua-Guard Oxy-Out is a chlorine-free shock treatment for swimming pool water. When used regularly, it will oxidize foreign organic contaminants which reduce the effectiveness of chlorine as a disinfectant. Oxy-Out contains no calcium or chlorine and is completely soluble. It should be used as a shock treatment only. Oxy-Out is not a sanitizer or algaecide and must be used in conjunction with a sanitizer.
Directions: One capful holds approximately 30 gms. Adjust pH reading between 7.2 – 7.8. Broadcast Oxy-Out on the surface of the pool, concentrated across the deep end. For best results, use Oxy-Out every two weeks, or during heavy bather loads or wet weather, use more frequently. Add Oxy-Out according to the table below:
