Aqua-Guard Concentrated Liquid Algaecide kills and controls stubborn algae growth and moulds in swimming pool water. Aqua-Guard Algaecide is a non-foaming algaecide that is effective at any pH, and helps to flocculate dead algae and sediment to the pool bottom for easy cleanup. It is effective on green algae and other algae.
For best distribution, dilute Aqua-Guard Algaecide in a pail of water and pour around the pool.
- Initial dosage for pool water is 80 mL of Aqua-Guard Algaecide per 10,000 L of pool water.
- Weekly maintenance dosage is 30 mL of Aqua-Guard Algaecide per 10,000 L of pool water.
- For pool water with visible algae, superchlorinate following label instructions of superchlorination product and wait 24 hours before adding weekly maintenance dosage.
- When superchlorination is not employed, add 120 mL of Aqua-Guard Algaecide per 10,000 L of pool water.
