Our Inground rectangular pool covers include waterbag loops installed around the outside pool perimeter to help keep waterbags in place.
A 6’ overlap is provided with all inground winter covers. For example, a 16’ x 32’ rectangle winter cover has a cover size of 22’ x 38’, providing an additional 3 feet all the way around, allowing the cover to rest on the deck and on the water surface at the winterizing level.
All Inground Winter Covers come with a 1 Year Full warranty against seam separations only.
Surface abrasion or pin holes due to high winds, punctures, tears or critter damage are not covered under the Aqua-Guard warranty.
Water loss over the winter due to liner leaks will add stress to the winter cover as the water level drops. Torn grommets or hems caused by water loss is not covered under the Aqua-Guard warranty. Perform a water loss test before closing. Place a piece of painter’s tape on the skimmer faceplate at the current water level with pool water at seasonal temperature. Wait 24 hours. After 24 hours, if water loss is greater than ¼”, your pool liner could be compromised. Contact support@thepoolshoppe.ca or your local pool professional for additional advice.
