Whether you are replacing your pool heater or purchasing a new one we are here to help!
Our Sales team will give you Referral Agents who will connect both the gas line and water lines to your new heater. If you have your own gas agent, we will work with you and your gas agent to plumb in the heater. Often we are called upon to upgrade plumbing lines or install a Chlorine Puck feeder when necessary after the heater install.
Haven’t chosen your new pool heater yet?

Having problems with your pool heater?
Often heater problems such as IF or LO are consumer issues and are easily rectifiable.
‘IF’ Error Code
Ignition Failure – the system cannot make the spark to light the burners.
Two common reasons are:
1. A gas valve is closed that needs to be opened. Either:
- the gas valve OR switch inside the heater is in the OFF position and needs to be turned on – you may have something similar to fig. 1a or fig. 1b
OR
- the valve on the rigid gas pipe coming from your gas meter to the outside wall of your heater (fig. 2)
2. Spiders like the smell of the Methanethiol, the odourant put in natural gas (fig. 3). A Spring Service clean-out by a licensed gas agent is recommended annually.
‘LO’ Error Code
5 common reasons for Low Water Flow error on heater
1. Water level in pool: Ensure water level is 1”-2” from top of skimmer box (fig. 4).
2. Debris in skimmer & pump baskets: Clear debris from both your skimmer and pump basket for maximum flow through the system.
3. Variable Speed or 2-speed pump? Change speed to higher setting to improve water flow through system.
4. Air draw through worn gaskets or o-rings – a few examples:
- pump pot lid o-ring or gasket
- union and ball valve o-rings or pump pot plugs
- re-teflon tape drain plug(s) on pump pot
5. Filter Flow:
Sand Filter – Backwash sand filter to increase water flow through the system.
Cartridge Filter – Flush filter(s) to increase water flow through system (fig. 5).
