Stabilizer is an essential chemical in protecting chlorine from evaporating due to the sun’s UV rays – think of Stabilizer as “sunscreen” for chlorine! Stabilizer should be balanced between 20 – 30 ppm for the best efficiency between your chlorine sanitization and protection from the sun.
