1.) Remove old tip
We recommend the use of a box cutter to cut the tip down as close to the ferrule as possible without damaging the ferrule. Then sand off what is left of the tip, leaving the top of the ferrule flat with no remnants of the old tip.
2.) Glue on new tip
Apply a small amount of cue tip cement (not included) to the top of the ferrule and carefully place the new tip on top. Position metal brace in place and secure pressure using the metal clamp. Let the cue sit for approximately 20-30 minutes before releasing the clamp and brace.
3.) Shape tip as desired
Once cement is dry, use the sandpaper to smooth edges and remove any excess glue. Make sure to sand down the new tip to better fit the cue and gently round off the top edges as desired
