Description
Phase 1: Avoid the Cross
1.) The balls near the outer pockets must all be pocketed before striking the cross.
2.) If the cross is struck during this phase, the entire game is reset to the beginning.
3.) If a shot does not pocket a ball, the game must be reset to the beginning state.
4.) The shooter decides which outer pocket ball can be pocketed first. After the first shot, the outer ball furthest away from the cue ball must be hit & sunk next. The shooter chooses which one to hit if the cue ball is the same distance from multiple balls. NOTE: Hitting multiple balls is allowed and encouraged, as long as the furthest ball away from the cue ball is the first one struck and pocketed.
5.) The cross must be broken once all perimeter balls are pocketed. Any ball from the cross must be pocketed during the break to continue the game. Play continues until all balls are pocketed, or the game is reset.
