A granular chlorine that is used to maintain a chlorine residual in your pool to control and kill algae and bacteria in the pool water. Granular has an available chlorine content of 62% and it is recommended to wait 8-12 hours after use before swimming.
Granular chlorine contains stabilizer and while it can be used as a shock in emergencies, care must be taken to avoid excessive accumulation of stabilizer.
With pump in operation, maintain proper chlorine residual by broadcasting 40g per 10,000L of pool water daily over the pool’s surface.
