Aqua Guard Stabilizer acts like an invisible umbrella in the water, setting up a screen to protect the chlorine in the pool against the ultraviolet rays of the sun. Water which has not been stabilized rapidly loses its chlorine through decomposition. At the start of the season or when the pool is freshly filled, condition your pool by adding Stabilizer.
Directions: One capful holds approximately 30 g. Add stabilizer according to the table below through the pool skimmer. Stabilizer is completely soluble, however it may take up tp 48 hours to completely dissolve. Do not backwash the filter for 48 hours after adding Stabilizer. If the pool is not equipped with a skimmer, simply add the required amount to a bucket of water and dissolve before adding to the deep end of your pool.
If your pool does not have a sand filter equipped, we instead recommend using Stabilizer Pucks or Liquid Stabilizer.Â
