Common Issues to Check First for AquaRite® & AquaTrol® Salt Chlorinators
Does your pool water’s salt level match your salt machine display?
Bring a water sample to The Pool Shoppe for a check-up then verify the chart below with our test results.
Possible causes for little or no free chlorine residual:
- System switch is not on AUTO
- Desired Output % setting is too low
- Filter pump time is too short (allow at least 8 hours for smaller pools, longer for larger pools)
- When water temperature is warm or bather load is high, increase output % setting
- Cell has reached its lifespan
