There is nothing better than a hot soak during the holidays, especially with family and friends. However, more guests means a higher “bather load,” which can turn water cloudy. To keep your water clear and party-ready, follow these simple pre- and post-party steps.

PRE-PARTY

Make it enjoyable for your guests!

  1. Test your spa water to ensure your chlorine/bromine, pH and Total Alkalinity (TA) levels are in range for user comfort.
  2. Add a dose of Spa Shock (oxidizer) if the CL/BR level is good, or add a dose of Chlor-Aid (chlorine) if there is no sanitizer level. Adjust the pH and TA accordingly.
  3. Install clean or new filters to ensure the water flow is running at 100% capacity and to collect the user’s body oils and lotions.

AFTER-PARTY

Your simple spa refresh!

  1. Top up your water level if the water level is low.
  2. Replace or rinse your filters to rid them of body oils, lotions, or debris collected during use and maintain a good water flow.
  3. Add a Chlor-Aid Shock dose to bring sanitizer levels back up quickly.
